I've had my RL770 system for 4 years now, it works great and I never have to worry about batteries.
I couldn't mount the generator on the back wheel due to conflicting with the disc-break system, but mounting it on the front fork wasn't a problem (although I had to splice the wires from the rear light)
I have had a problem with the rear light popping slightly open, it doesn't seem to be harming it any - even staying out in all weathers.

Simple to install and bright lights in the dark.

This occur via a battery-free generator with magnetic technology, eliminating the need to buy or endlessly recharge batteries, or having to replace tire hubs or rubber of wheels. Can't beat that!

And yes, you have read correctly! A bike light that continue to stay on even after coming to a complete stop, without the use of batteries. Reelight name this exceptional technology "ReePower", which comes in the optional choice of flashing or constant. I opted for constant instead of flashing lights. When it comes to visibility at intersecctions or night riding safety in general, this feature alone makes Reelight far superior to ANY other brand or technology currently out on the market. Truely a life saver!

Installation does require time, patience, strict adherence to installation guide, and further readjustments in placement until optimum lighting is achieved. I highly recommend a visit to a local bike shop for professional installation instead of a risky at home diy install if you lack the confidence, time, patience, or willingness to tinker with and minutely adjust placement to your bike's specific frame/wheel size. Proceeding without such virtues and failure to closely follow installation instructions may result in issues such as low lights, rear light being brighter than front light, or lights not turning on at all. Also, applying too much force or overtightening may cause damage, as the product consists of plastic parts, small screws, and thin wires. Be advised!

So far, I'm very pleased with the performance of the RL700. International shipping to the east coast of the US was very fast. I received the package a week from the date of purchase, and the box was professionally packaged.

In a world that is increasingly forcing us to charge, charge, and recharge every aspect of our life, it's refreshing to find a meaningful safety product that gives me one less thing to have to charge or constantly worry about having enough power in order to use.
