The long awaited Rainger is finally here!

A rainy day complicates your already complex life, but the Cleverhood cape transforms it into a stylish statement about your love of design and an urban-minded lifestyle.

With fourteen years of rain experience, Cleverhood took feedback from devoted wearers to create this bold evolution of its original garment, The Urbanaut, an award-winning top product. Cleverhood retained the European style, passion for modern design, and technology while adding critical new functionality.

Maintaining the perfect-fit adjustable hood and classic thumb loops, Cleverhood eliminated arm holes and adjusted the overall profile for easier arm access. Transformative arm snaps were added for optional "sleeves," along with a high wind cinch in the back and a generous front pocket with a waterproof zipper and protective flap.

Cleverhood preserved the most distinctive and beloved feature of the original cape—its heritage fabric, brilliantly woven with 3M high-quality reflective yarns that catch the eye of design enthusiasts and demand the attention of oncoming headlights. This makes it a standout choice for dark day and night travel. The fabric is stable and substantial, weighing nearly double that of its lightweight cousin, the Rover 2.0.

The New Rainger Rain Cape is bike-ready, designed for an urban, multi-modal lifestyle. Inside the garment, strong, flexible thumb loops in the front and an interior wind cinch keep it secure while biking. The tent effect provides excellent coverage for you and your gear (backpack, etc.) and increased airflow, ensuring you arrive dry inside and out.
